Indian markets close flat

MUMBAI, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a negative note on Wednesday as benchmark indices erased gains in late trade, dragged by HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,777.38, 59.36 points or 0.18 percent down compared to its previous close at 33,836.74. Enditem
