NEW YORK, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 89 km SSE of Pangai, Tonga at 22:52:51 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 20.5 degrees south latitude and 173.93 degrees west longitude. Enditem
