Guangdong beat Jilin 102-86 for 3-game winning streak

CHANGCHUN, China, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Jilin lost to Guangdong 102-86 at home in the 18th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Tuesday evening.

Jilin had its only lead by starting the game 9-3 before Guangdong bounced back to enter the second quarter 22-21 and enlarged their lead to double digits through Zhou Peng and Yi Jianlian.

By extending their winning streak to three, Yi led Guangdong with 20 points, 17 rebounds and three steals, Zhou added 24 points.

Andrew Nicholson also scored 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and made four steals, while Edwin Jackson had his double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, apart from seven assists.

For Jilin, Carl Landry scored a game-high 33 points, Von Waver also contributed with 23 points, and Gao Shiyan added 16 points. Enditem
