Xinhua,December 19, 2017 Adjust font size:

China signed agreements with 47 countries and regions for the mutual recognition of diplomas and degrees as of the end of 2016, according to the Ministry of Education (MOE) Monday.

It has also launched eight high-level cultural and people-to-people exchange programs with countries including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Indonesia and South Africa.

The ministry had approved nearly 2,500 Chinese-foreign cooperatively run educational institutions and programs by the end of 2016.

China has established educational cooperation and exchange relationships with 188 countries and regions during the past five years, said the MOE.
