4 killed, 6 injured in road accident in central Morocco

RABAT, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and six others injured on Monday in a road accident near the central Moroccan city of Kasba Tadla, local media reported.

The victims were killed immediately after their car crashed with a truck carrying goods, Hespress.com news site said.

Among the wounded three suffered serious injury, according to the report.

A total of 3,593 people were killed in road accidents in Morocco in 2016, a slight increase from the year before, according to Moroccan Transport Ministry.

Morocco has adopted a new strategy from 2015 to 2025, vowing to reduce casualties of road accidents by 50 percent. Enditem
