China Zhangzhou to host E-Sports Carnival

ZHANGZHOU, China, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- The China E-Sports Carnival will be held from December 22 to 24 in the city of Zhangzhou, southeast China.

The carnival will feature three events, namely the 2017 ESCC (Electronic Sports China Cup) E-Sports tournament final, ESCC Pan-entertainment carnival and 2017 E-Sports ecological convention.

The 2017 ESCC tournament is the first national level E-Sports meet to be held based on the E-Sports venue. After 10 months of qualification, 16 E-Sports teams from 10 provinces will get together in Zhangzhou to vie for the national title.

According to the organizers, a newly built E-Sports venue will put into use before the carnival. The CNCG (China National Cyber Games) E-Sports Center, which covers 3,500 square meters, has the multiple functions of E-Sports venue, E-Sports tournament, forum and convention, integrated training, education training, and showcase display.
