ADDIS ABABA, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Sunday.

--A nationwide campaign was launched on Saturday to reduce loss of lives and property damage caused by road traffic accidents. The campaign will last until May. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)

--The United Arab Emirates says it is keen to boost the bilateral relations with Ethiopia, the country's Ambassador to Ethiopia said.

Ambassador Ghazi Abdullah bin Ashour Al-Muhri told ENA that that UAE is keen to enhance the bilateral relation which he said is "close and advanced." (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)

--The Turkish Industry Holding A.S. Company, a Turkish giant engaged in manufacturing, said it is going to invest in Ethiopia with 500 million Euros.
