Dollar changes hands in in mid-113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-113 yen zone in early trade on Wednesday in Tokyo, largely unchanged from its levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.52-53 yen compared with 113.50-60 yen in New York and 113.46-47 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1743-1744 dollars and 133.30-33 yen against 1.1737-1747 dollars and 133.32-42 yen in New York and 1.771-1772 dollars and 133.56-60 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
