Dollar stays in mid-113 yen zone ahead of Fed meeting

TOKYO, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the mid-113 yen zone Tuesday in Tokyo amid cautiousness ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy meeting later this week.

At 5:00 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 113.46-47 yen compared with 113.51-61 yen in New York and 113.43-45 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Monday. It moved between 113.38 yen and 113.58 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1771-1772 dollars and 133.56-60 yen against 1.1764-1774 dollars and 133.60-70 yen in New York and 1.1782-1783 dollars and 133.65-69 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon. Enditem
