China, Britain to hold economic, financial dialogue

BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- China and Britain will hold their 9th economic and financial dialogue in Beijing from Friday to Saturday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said on Tuesday.

Chinese Vice Premier Ma Kai and British Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond will co-chair the dialogue, Lu said.

The two sides will discuss the macroeconomic situation and policy, trade, investment and industry strategy, financial reform, development of the financial market as well as cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, Lu said. Enditem
