French shares down 0.23 pct on Monday

PARIS, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.23 percent, or 12.26 points, to close at 5,386.83 points.

European multinational aeronautical corporation Airbus Group was down 2.10 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. French tyre manufacturer Michelin lost 1.76 percent, and French concessions and construction company Vinci lost 1.49 percent.

TechnipFMC, a UK-based company that provides complete project life cycle services, rose 4.20 percent. French multinational mass media conglomerate Vivendi gained 2.73 percent, and Luxembourg-based multinational steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal increased 1.27 percent. Enditem
