Chicago agricultural commodities mixed in morning trading

CHICAGO, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural commodities were mixed in morning trading on Friday with soybeans continuing their retreat.
As of 1550 GMT, January soybeans fell 3.5 cents to reach 9.885 U.S. dollars per bushel. March corn went up two cents and March wheat was steady, only up 0.25 cent.
A report released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) showed strong export sales of soybeans last week, but year-to-date sales are still lagging behind last year.
CBOT soybeans jumped above the 10-dollar per bushel level earlier this week but failed to maintaine the upbeat momentum due to profit-taking and the up-to-date export volume.
Next week, USDA is to release its monthly agricultural supply and demand estimates report and analysts said the trading at CBOT is expected to be relatively quiet before the new report. Enditem
