Indian markets close higher

MUMBAI, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed higher Friday.

The rally continued at Dalal Street as the Sensex surged nearly 300 points intraday, driven by broadbased buying except PSU banks.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 33,250.30, up 301.09 points, or 0.91 percent, compared to its previous close at 32,949.21. Enditem
