HONG KONG, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 336.66 points, or 1.19 percent, to 28,639.85 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 28,344.39 and 28,705.76. Turnover totaled 115.40 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 14.78 billion U.S. dollars). Enditem
