KAMPALA, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Uganda Rugby Cranes are fired up ahead of the 2017 Cape Town Sevens scheduled to take place from Dec. 9-10 in South Africa.

Ramzy Olinga, Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Rugby Union told Xinhua on Thursday that after a good show at the Dubai Sevens last weekend, the Rugby Cranes are prepared to prove yet another point in Cape Town.

Uganda have been paired in the same group with England, Scotland and Argentina for the Cape Town Sevens tournament.

Uganda will have the chance to revenge against Argentina who beat them last week in the semi finals of the 13th place classification match 26-7 in the Dubai Sevens.

Tolbert Onyango, Uganda's coach told Xinhua that they are working hard to keep reducing on the mistakes as they prepare for the Commonwealth Games and the World Cup next year.

"I am happy with the way my team is shaping up and the boys getting better and better. These games with top sides are helping us build in confidence and general set plays," he added. Enditem
