Hong Kong's foreign currency reserves up in November

HONG KONG, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets rose to 422.1 billion U.S. dollars in November from 419.2 billion U.S. dollars in October, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said on Thursday.

Including unsettled foreign exchange contracts, foreign currency reserve assets at the end of November rose to 413.5 billion U.S. dollars from 410.9 billion U.S. dollars in October.

The reserve assets represent more than seven times the currency in circulation or 44 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3. Enditem
