2 killed, 2 injured in knife attack in Tokyo

TOKYO, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- One man and one woman were killed and two others injured on Thursday night in a knife attack in Tokyo, local police said.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. local time at the Tomioka Hachimangu Shinto shrine in Koto Ward, Tokyo.

The four victims were believed to be associated with the shrine.

A knife and a Japanese sword with blood on were found later near the site.

Police have been searching for the attacker. Enditem
