CAPE TOWN, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- The following are news items in South African major news outlets on Thursday:

-- Police are looking into investigative journalists Jacques Pauw and Pieter-Louis Myburgh, who have both written about alleged corrupt relationships involving President Jacob Zuma.

However, police said on Wednesday that no case against the two has been opened. (News24)

-- The Public Servants Association (PSA) plans to continue with legal action against Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba to protect public servants' pension investments, despite a letter from Gigaba asking for a meeting in January with its leaders.

Gigaba's continued failure to respond to the union's demands left it with no other option, the PSA said in a statement on Wednesday. (Fin24)
