LONDON -- Two men appeared in court in London Wednesday on charges related to an alleged plot to blow up 10 Downing Street and kill British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Naa'imur Zakariyah Rahman, 20, from north London, was charged with preparing acts of terrorism and assisting Mohammed Aqib Imran in terror planning. Imran, 21, from Birmingham, was charged with preparing acts of terrorism. (UK-Terror Plot)

YANGON -- One people died and four others were missing in Tuesday's fishing vessel mishap off Myanmar's southwestern coast of Ayeyawaddy region, the Home Affairs Ministry said on Wednesday.
Out of 19 people aboard, 14 people have been rescued so far by a military vessel, and the search and rescue operations for the missing ones were underway, the ministry said in a statement. (Myanmar-Vessel-Mishap)

CAIRO -- The Arab League (AL) decided to hold an emergency meeting at the level of foreign ministers on Saturday to discuss the Arab action regarding the possible U.S. recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital city, official MENA news agency reported on Wednesday.
