Bosna Royal lose to ESSM Le Portel at FIBA Europe Cup

SARAJEVO, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) triple basketball champions Bosna Royal lost to ESSM Le Portel from France 86-66 in the 6th round of FIBA Europe Cup here on Tuesday evening.

At the Skenderija hall, ESSM Le Portel convincingly built a 22-point advantage after outscoring the hosts 31-9 in the first 10 minutes.

The host team played better to close the gap after the first quarter, but ESSM Le Portel hung on for the big win.

Drasko Knezevic scored 19 points for Royal, while Benoit Mangin scored 14 points for the visiting team.

With six defeats, Bosna Royal are currently on the 4th place with 6 points in the group. Enditem
