Jilin smashes Beijing 97-88 to stop CBA losing streak

CHANGCHUN, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Von Waver scored a game-high 33 points as Jilin defeated Beijing 97-88, ending its three game losing streak in the 11th round of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Sunday.
Justin Hamilton scored the opener for Beijing before Jilin came back at 23-14. The host team expanded the lead to double figures in the second quarter. Beijing managed to cut the deficit to 7 points in the last period but Jilin refused Beijing's fight back to put the game beyond reach.
Von Waver scored 33 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists for Jilin. Landry collected 28 points and 6 rebounds. Gao Shiyan contributed 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
Aaron Jackson led Beijing with 22 points and 10 assists. Fang Shuo pocketed 17 points and Hamilton had 9 points and 11 rebounds. Enditem
