TEHRAN -- South Korean Samsung company cooperates with Iran in training the Iranian experts to achieve the state-of-art technologies, Financial Tribune daily reported on Saturday.
Samsung has set up an engineering academy in Iran and some 7,200 youth have been trained at the center of which 1,400 have entered the job market after receiving a certificate of skill from Samsung. (Iran-Samsung)

CAIRO -- An Egyptian court sentenced a well-known lawyer on Saturday to three years in jail over his recent remarks encouraging rape of women wearing skintight outfits and ripped off jeans, official MENA news agency reported.
Lawyer Nabih al-Wahsh, who recently made the controversial remarks on a TV show, was convicted of encouraging rape and sexual harassment and was handed a three-year jail term in absentia, as he did not attend the hearing. (Egypt-Lawyer-Jail-Rape)

SANAA -- Clashes intensified between rebel Houthi fighters and their rival forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in the Yemeni capital on Saturday, residents said.

RAMALLAH -- Member of Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Hanan Ashrawi warned Saturday against U.S. considering moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
