Bordeaux suffer fifth straight road loss in Ligue 1

PARIS, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Wesley Said's late goal handed Bordeaux their fifth straight road loss in Ligue 1 as they lost at Dijon 3-2 in the 16th round action on Friday.

Dijon replaced Bordeaux on the 10th position with 21 points. Bordeaux were one place behind on 20 points.

Bordeaux saw their advantages erased twice in the match featuring two mid-table sides. After Jonathan Cafu broke the deadlock in the 13th minute, Dijon got the match back on Cedric Yambere's header on 34 minutes.

Bordeaux got the upper hand again two minutes later, as 20-year-old Malcom witnessed his long-range strike hit the target.

Trailing by 1-2 into the second half, Dijon had their response in the 52nd minute from Benjamin Jeannot. Said made it harder to bite for Bordeaux when he converted Xeka's pass into the winner with just three minutes remaining.

Paris Saint-Germain, who possessed a 10-point advantage atop the table, will visit promoted sides Strasbourg on Saturday. Enditem
