NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted southeast of Shizunai, Japan, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Friday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 65.45 km, was initially determined to be at 42.1242 degrees north latitude and 142.5131 degrees east longitude. Enditem
