JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Up to four militants loyal to the Islamic State (IS) group were killed and eight others injured as unmanned plane struck the hardliner group hideout in the eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, spokesman for provincial government Attaullah Khogiani said.

The strikes, according to the official, was conducted early morning against IS hideout in Wazirotangi area of Khogiani district.

IS militants who are active in parts of the eastern Nangarhar province with Jalalabad as its capital haven't commented. Enditem
