Dollar hovers in mid-112 yen zone amid concerns over U.S. tax reform outlook

TOKYO, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the mid-112 yen zone on Friday in Tokyo amid uncertainties over the result of a U.S. Senate voting on a tax reform bill.

At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.62-63 yen compared with 112.48-58 yen in New York and 112.28-30 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. It moved between 112.32 yen and 112.69 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1914-1915 dollars and 134.18-22 yen against 1.1899-1909 dollars and 133.95-134.05 yen in New York and 1.1864-1865 dollars and 133.21-25 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
