"The bomb blast occurred roughly at 06:55 a.m. (local time) in Sarah-e-Shamali locality with a big bang, causing panic among the residents in Police District 11 of the city," Roya Khojazada told Xinhua.

The blast was followed by siren of ambulances and police vehicles. People in the area were sleeping as they were enjoying Friday's day off.
