British stocks down 0.90 pct Thursday

LONDON, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.90 percent, or 66.89 points, to close at 7,326.67 points.

Mediclinic International, an international private hospital group, soared 4.72 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. BT Group and ConvaTec Group increased by 2.11 percent and 1.52 percent, respectively.

The multinational pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.51 percent. British American Tobacco dropped 2.35 percent. Prudential, an international financial services group, dropped 2.16 percent. Enditem
