Dollar stays in mid-111 yen zone amid renewed geopolitical concerns

TOKYO, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed in the mid-111 yen zone Wednesday in Tokyo amid renewed geopolitical concerns following the latest ballistic missile launch of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

At 5:00 p.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 111.45-46 yen compared with 111.42-52 yen in New York and 111.30-31 yen in Tokyo at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. It moved between 111.38 yen and 111.66 yen during the day.

The euro fetched 1.1868-1870 dollars and 132.27-31 yen against 1.1832-1842 dollars and 131.88-98 yen in New York and 1.1888-1890 dollars and 132.32-36 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Enditem
