RABAT, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Morocco's King Mohammed VI congratulated on Tuesday Uhuru Kenyatta on the occasion of his re-election as president of the Republic of Kenya.

In a message of congratulations to the Kenyan president, the king expressed his "warmest congratulations and best wishes" for continued success in his mission to lead the Kenyan people towards further progress and prosperity.

"I avail myself of this opportunity to say how keen I am to continue working with Your Excellency to give strong momentum to cooperation between our countries and to expand it to all sectors," the king pointed out.

The bilateral cooperation should help serve the two peoples' shared interests and reflect the brotherly African bonds, mutual esteem and active solidarity between our countries, he added. Enditem
