BUDAPEST -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic here on Tuesday and urged relevant parties to speed up the construction of China-Europe land-sea express, taking the opportunity of the start of construction of the Serbian part of the Hungary-Serbia railway.

Li said the start of railway construction from Belgrade to Stara Pazova in Serbia is a "major progress" in building the Hungary-Serbia railway. (Hungary-Serbia-Railway-Li Keqiang)

NAIROBI -- Kenyan president-elect Uhuru Kenyatta took the oath of office on Tuesday, promising to prioritize unity in his second and final five-year term.

CAIRO -- At least 14 terrorists were killed and 14 other suspects were arrested in Egyptian police and military raids inside and near North Sinai province, official security statements said on Tuesday.
