TUNIS, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Foreign investments in Tunisia increased to 1,789.4 million dinars (715.76 million U.S. dollars) as of November, up 11.7 percent from last year, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) reported Tuesday.

According to the same source, these investments are divided into 1,681.2 million dinars of foreign direct investment (FDI) and 108.2 million dinars of portfolio investments.

While the services sector managed to attract foreign investments of 196.3 million dinars with a growth of 58.9 percent, the agricultural sector only benefited from 15.8 million dinars, an increase of 47.2 percent compared to the first 10 months of the past year.

The general indicators in 2017 signal a revival in various vital sectors, according to Zied Laadhari, the Tunisian minister of Investment and International Cooperation. Enditem
