BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang on Monday urged more efforts in system innovation to build an open economy.

Wang made the comments at a meeting on the comprehensive experiment and pilot of new systems for building an open economy in Beijing.

Regions that are currently under pilot projects should strengthen coordination and explore more replicable experiences, said Wang.

Wang stressed that breakthroughs should be made in establishing new systems of running an open economy and exploring new methods of international investment cooperation...to build a system environment compatible with the new round of opening-up.

Wang also called for efforts in supervision and policy coordination.
