China March consumer prices up 2.3%

China's consumer price index (CPI) increased 1.4 percent year on year in 2015, down from a 2 percent increase in 2014 and 2.6 percent in 2013, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said in a statement on Saturday

China's consumer prices grew 2.3 percent in March from one year earlier, the same as February's 2.3 percent, official data showed Monday.

The consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, shrank 0.4 percent in March from February, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.
