Indian stocks close at record high

Indian stocks closed at a record high Friday with the BSE benchmark index, Sensex, closing at 27, 865.83 points, 519.50 points or 1.90 percent up from the previous close of 27,346.33 points.

This is the record close high which surpassed the previous highest point of 27,390.60 on Thursday.

Good buying was observed in capital goods, auto, banking, metal, oil and gas and IT sectors while selling pressure was seen in the consumer durables sector. Endi
