China Western Information Center Set up in Chengdu

Construction of China Western Information Center was completed in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone in the capital of Southwest China's Sichuan Province on Wednesday.
Covering 6 hectares, the project has drawn an investment of nearly 1 billion yuan.
Invested, built and operated by China Telecom, the center is the company's largest disaster recovery data center and the country's first "State-level data security center".
The center is western China's largest base for the modern integrated information service. China Telecom will rely on it to strengthen cooperation with Microsoft, Cisco, Huawei and other internationally renowned companies to provide integrated information technology solutions and comprehensive information service support for the government, enterprises and institutions.
It will provide data storage, disaster recovery, information search, electronic commerce, mobile Internet and other services.
